What started out in 1976 as a mere passion project, Red Cedar Ribbon and it’s heritage has stood the test of time. Now three generations in, the initial concept for ribbon bedding has improved over time, but the intention and soul behind it has remained the same.
As a bedding company, we are steadfast in our belief that our dogs should have an organic, breathable, and hypoallergenic bedding option to keep up with their active lifestyles. Whether you are running dogs in the field, or in the marsh, Red Cedar Ribbon is designed to fill your dog boxes with lofted curls of red cedar. In the winter, fluffy cedar bedding will keep your dog warm to and from the hunt. Meanwhile, the hygroscopic nature of the cedar wood will absorb all moisture, reducing wet dog smell and muddy paws.

When will I get my order?
We ship on Monday's and Friday with the exception of Holidays. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
Where are your products manufactured?
We Harvest, process, and package all Red Cedar Ribbon products at our mill in the Northwest corner of Connecticut. Right here in the USA.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location's zip code. Once you have an item in your cart and fill in the zip code field, you will see a preview of the shipping price before you purchase.
What do I do with my flattened ribbon?
Once your ribbon curls have reached a flattened state, there are a variety of household uses for them. Spent ribbon is great for compost, as a fire starter, and can make a great addition to your cat's litter.
